Our approach
What we aim for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means text that meets contrast requirements against the background behind it, a visible focus indicator on everything you can reach with a keyboard, content that reflows without horizontal scrolling on small screens, and animation that is reduced automatically when your device asks for that.

The Google listing is not connected yet, so there is no review link to send people to. Add it in the Connections tab and this button switches on.

Sample reviews. These are placeholders showing how the section will look. Connect the Google listing and real five star reviews replace them, and this notice goes with them.

This card shows how a five star Google review will look once the listing is connected. The layout holds a longer review by scrolling inside the card, so one customer writing three paragraphs never stretches the row.

A shorter one, to show the other end of the range. Cards keep the same height whatever the length, so the row stays even.

Reviewer photos appear here when Google supplies one. Where there is no photo the card falls back to a square set of initials rather than a circle, which matches the rest of the site.

The strip scrolls sideways and can be swiped on a phone. Only five star reviews are shown, which is set once in the review settings rather than per page.

Real reviews are written into the page at build time so search engines read them, then refreshed in the browser so the site stays current between deploys.
