Common questions
About basement remodeling
Can my existing system heat and cool a finished basement?
Sometimes, and sometimes not. Because we also maintain the home's existing system, we can tell you whether it will carry the extra load or whether the plan needs to change, before the work rather than after.
Can you put a bathroom or wet bar down there?
Yes. Plumbing is one of the trades ACS is licensed for, so drainage and supply are part of the same contract.
What about air quality?
Worth thinking about early. Basements are usually where air quality problems start, and ventilation is easier to design in than to retrofit.
Will I get an estimate first?
Yes. Accurate estimates before work begins are part of the Accent Promise, along with clear communication about what the work involves.
Is the work covered?
A two year warranty is advertised on installations and services. The terms that apply to your job come with the documentation for the work carried out.
